Project Synopsis
CleanPlan came to us needing a complete redesign of their internal user portal — a platform used daily by cleaning teams and administrators to manage operations. Our focus was on improving clarity, usability, and task efficiency across user management, site creation, task allocation, attendance logs, and report reviews.
Design Challenge
The core challenge was simplifying a complex system with many interlinked functions. Users needed to switch between tasks quickly and confidently. We had to establish a clear visual hierarchy, consistent layouts, and intuitive navigation that could support fast decision-making and minimise operational friction at every step.
Creative Approach
We introduced a cleaner visual structure with clearly defined sections, improved table readability, and streamlined form layouts. A consistent sidebar navigation and simplified action patterns allow users to move between tasks effortlessly. Every page was designed with clarity as the priority — reducing cognitive load for both managers and staff.
Prototype Impact
The redesigned portal significantly improves user flow and overall productivity for the CleanPlan team. Tasks such as assigning cleaners, creating sites, reviewing logs, and managing ad-hoc requests can now be completed faster and with fewer errors — delivering a more intuitive, efficient experience that strengthens their day-to-day operations.
